Ayoubowan and Greetings from the Pearl in the Indian Ocean.

This years event was just concluded on the 4th of April 2008.

We had six days of great ballooning with near perfect weather with some interesting places to land. All the participants appreciated the demand the terrain in Sri Lanka offered and the flights were completed with no incidents.

The “NIGHT GLOW” in the City of Colombo was well organized however the winds were stronger than expected and hence we could only tether 3 balloons.

The participants were escorted by the Sri Lanka Mounted Police to the great amazement of the crowd.

Music and Dance was also provided by the Sri Lanka Police.

We had the great steam ride and the unforgettable helicopter transfer, which was cherished by all.

Any persons requiring a DVD should email us. This documentary DVD will be released in June 2008. All participants will be entitled to a copy.
