An adventure of a Lifetime

The registration process is now completed and we our pleased to see many new adventurers join this small but exclusive festival.

We have confirmed participation, from 72 balloonist with family and friends, from England, Austria, Scotland, India, Italy, Ireland, Saudi Arabia, Japan and Sri Lanka.

We shall have 22 hot air balloons.

Your efforts and enthusiasm, encourages us to keep the Sri Lanka Balloon Festival, at the quality level that is in no measure small.

My team, looks forward to welcoming our new friends that will be coming to Sri Lanka, for the first time. I am confident that some will add to the  growing list of “frequent flyers” at this event. We strive to ensure that everybody has a great time and a fun filled comfortable experience and also see the country from a different perspective.

I am especially happy to welcome  for the third time, Norman and Audrey Apsey, Harry and Freda Stringer and Akira Otaka. 

I am especially thrilled to see that many families have opted to join, thus ensuring that Sri Lanka is a family destination.

The itinerary has been amended as the camping segment has been replaced and we shall be staying at a hotel in the south east coast on the Beach!. Please check the itinerary.

Look forward to your arrival at the Katunayake International Airport, on the 21st March.
